Register with us
To register with us, you need to have, or be willing to obtain:
- references from two previous employers, including your most recent;
- an up to date (i.e. last 6 months) enhanced DBS check, or be willing to get one (we can assist with this if needed). We strongly recommend that you register your DBS certificate to be on the update service, and can advise you on how to do this; and
- an in-date First Aid Qualification.
You should also have previous relevant experience. At Happy Families we take a judgement as to the level and nature of experience of individuals based on the roles they are applying for, so we do not have fixed criteria in this regard.
If you satisfy the above criteria and would like to register, please contact us. We will then send you our full registration form to complete, which you should email to us, together with your CV and a passport style photo. We will then arrange to meet you face-to-face, and ask that you bring to the meeting originals of:
- Your passport;
- Driving licence (if you have one);
- DBS check;
- First Aid Certificate;
- Certificates of any relevant qualifications;
- Written references and contact details for us to follow up on at least two referees.
